This Goodyear Speedway Blue Streak 775-15 bias ply tire offers fitment on all C2 Corvettes from 1963 to 1967. It is a non OE tire, but provides a spectacular look with the raised white letters and blue stripe on the sidewall. The timeless Goodyear tread pattern looks great and offers excellent traction. If you're looking for a way to spice up your Corvette, the Goodyear 775-15 is a great option.
For a very short period of time during the mid 1960's, tires were produced with a 3/8-inch blue stripe on the sidewall. Goodyear Blue Streak tires were the originator, but BFGoodrich also offered a blue line tire. These tires were available on select Mopar cars during 1965 and 1966. We're proud to offer authentic blue line tires in original style bias ply construction.
This is a raised white letter tire, sometimes called RWL for short. Raised white letter tires became common in the late 1960's on muscle cars like the Pontiac GTO and high performance pony cars, like the Ford Mustang. Raised white letter tires feature white rubber that is built into the tire's sidewall when the carcass is being assembled. The letters are formed when the tire is vulcanized in a curing mold, and then buffed clean to reveal bright white letters. Popular raised white letter tires include BFGoodrich Radial T/A, Firestone Wide Oval and Goodyear Polyglas tires.

Bias ply tire construction is a method that was used from the 1900's through the 1970's on passenger cars and light trucks. Bias ply tires feature ply cords that run at a 45 degree angle to the bead, and overlap in a crisscross pattern, depending on how many ply layers are used. This creates a strong tire, but bias ply tires have a tendency to follow breaks or ruts in the pavement. Bias ply tires are the most authentic choice for classic car restorations and traditional hot rod builds. Coker Tire offers a huge variety of bias ply tires for many applications.
