The Coker Classic Star Series 235/75R15 whitewall tire is a modern radial tire with best-in-class speed, load and traction ratings. This tire features a 1.6-inch whitewall, which is built into the tire from day one for a long-lasting tire that offers the perfect look for your classic car. The narrow whitewall fits many American classic cars from 1962 and later, and the 235/75R15 sizing is a direct replacement for 800-15, 820-15 and L78-15 bias ply tires. Coker Classic Star Series tires feature a 480AA UTQG rating, giving them excellent treadwear, traction and temperature control. Another best-in-class rating is the T speed rating (118mph), as well as XL load rating, thanks to a reinforced sidewall, which is very important on full size luxury sedans, such as Cadillac, Lincoln and other heavy hitters from the '50s and '60s. The low-noise tread looks and performs nicely, and this tire is DOT approved and E-marked for the European market. You won't find a better whitewall radial tire on the market, you have our word on it!

Coker Classic Star Series Tires

Best-in-Class Traction

These tires feature Grade-A traction and temperature ratings, meaning you can expect excellent handling and traction on wet and dry roads. We engineered the Coker Classic Star Series to outperform all other whitewall tires, and it features a 480 AA UTQG rating for long-lasting tread life and unbeatable traction. This makes your classic car safer to drive in all weather conditions and improves your driving experience.

Reinforced Sidewall

The Coker Classic Star Series is engineered with a reinforced sidewall to better support the weight of classic cars. This reinforcement gives the tire Extra Load (XL) rating, meaning added safety and a long-lasting sidewall that won't break down over time. You can find the load rating for this tire in the specifications column.

Genuine Wide Whitewall Tire

This product features a genuine wide whitewall sidewall style. This means that the bright white rubber is added directly to the tire sidewall during initial construction of the carcass, resulting in a truly integrated, high-quality product after vulcanization. Wide whitewall tires were a very popular choice from the 1930's through the end of the 1950's, and were eventually phased out of mainstream production by 1962. Originally, wide whitewall tires featured a bias ply construction, but now Coker Tire offers them in original style bias ply and modern radial construction.

Speed Rating T

T Speed Rated: Up to 118 mph (190 km/h). Often required OE for higher performance trim level classic automobiles.

Please Note

  • Tire mounted on wheel for demonstration purposes only. Wheel and other accessories are not included. Please note that dimensions listed (tread width, section width and overall diameter) are non-scientific and based on an inflated tire, mounted to a wheel. Dimensions may vary due to rim width and inflation pressure. Please note Chemical Guys Tire and Rubber Cleaner and Adams Polish Tire shine has been linked to Whitewall browning and should not be used. We recommend using our line of tire care products.
About Coker Classic

Coker Tire Company, established in 1958 by Harold Coker in Chattanooga, Tennessee, began as a tire and service center. Over time, under the leadership of Harold's son, Corky Coker, the company shifted its focus towards the antique tire market, dedicating four decades to developing this niche. This strategic move transformed Coker Tire into a leading provider of vintage-style tires for collector vehicles.

The company specializes in manufacturing and selling vintage-style tires, including brands like Michelin, Firestone, BF Goodrich, and Uniroyal, catering to the needs of automotive enthusiasts seeking authentic period-correct tires. By utilizing original, refurbished molds or creating new molds from original drawings, Coker Tire ensures that their products maintain the classic appearance while incorporating modern materials for improved performance and safety.

In addition to tires, Coker Tire offers a range of wheels and accessories suitable for various collector vehicles. Their inventory includes steel and wire wheels designed to replace worn-out OEM wheels for makes such as Chevrolet, Ford, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Mercury, Chrysler, Buick, and Volkswagen. They also provide custom wire wheels for hot rods and distribute products from brands like Rocket Racing Wheels and Dayton Wire Wheels.
